As a business, we’re always looking at how we can positively impact the communities around us.
We are thrilled to announce that to celebrate the start of the new year, we have been awarded a kitemark after joining Good for Good, an initiative from Norfolk Community Foundation.
Good for Good links businesses like ours to charities across the region for lasting community impact – something that’s very important to K Foley Ltd.
It’s missions include Nourishing Norfolk, combatting food insecurity and poverty, Young People’s Mental Health, investing in community groups and safe space for young people and Love Norfolk, a programme that provides funding to community hot spots attended by 2000+ people each week.
In addition it supports Green Our Communities, an initiative to improve local action for global climate change, Skills for Norfolk, supporting people into employment and funding vocational skills and A Better Childhood, nurturing strong and resilient families through a range of projects.
CEO of K Foley Ltd, Kevin Foley said: “Our staff have supported a range of charities across the UK and globally and community organisations and groups based on the doorstep in Norfolk. Over the years we have raised thousands of pounds for a variety of vulnerable groups from those affected by the war in the Ukraine to individuals coping with challenging circumstances involving illness. We have also sponsored – and continue to sponsor – a range of grassroots sports teams that help us give back to our local community.
“This organisation is another great fit for our charitable endeavours, and we are thrilled to get involved. We’ve identified that as a Norfolk company, we have something to offer that voluntary sector organisations in Norfolk can benefit from. So, by joining Good for Good, we are making a commitment to deliver longer term social impact.”
