K Foley staff take on world’s biggest 5k inflatable course to raise thousands for charity

Teams from across all 10 of the K Foley restaurants have taken on the world’s largest inflatable 5k course to help raise vital funds for charity.

Staff pulled together to scramble their way through the inflatable obstacle course race, which sees participants put through their paces during a variety of wobbly challenges.

A total of 25 employees were brave enough to take on what is dubbed ‘the world’s biggest and bounciest inflatable 5K course’ at the Norfolk Showground.

We’re thrilled to reveal that participants raised £3,000 in aid of Ronald McDonald House Charities, which helps keep families together when a child is in hospital, providing a home nearby for parents and family to stay in.

Kevin Foley, CEO of K Foley LTD, said:

“A huge well done to the teams who went along to be part of this fundraising day – we’re really proud of your efforts.

“An amazing amount of money was raised and I hope to be able to take some people along to a Ronald McDonald house soon, so that you can see just how important the fundraising is. It’s great to see such team spirt on show. Well done everyone.”

In an email to the team, Ronald McDonald House Charities, said:

“It was fantastic to see so many of you at the race on Saturday, with big smiles.

“Your fundraising will help us to continue to provide families with a comfortable place to stay that is close to their child when they are in hospital, giving them more time end energy to focus on being together.”
