Champion - Jamie
Jamie has worked at Regent Road for nearly 2 years. He has great enthusiasm in his job and is an experience member of the team who excels in all areas of the restaurant. Jamie is a keen football fan who supports Manchester United, plays football and enjoys gaming. He is hoping to volunteer in the police and then complete an apprenticeship. Well done, Jamie, a fantastic achievement.

Champion - Chris
Chris has only worked with us since April this year but has very quickly developed his skills in all areas to become a strong and reliable member of our team. You'll never see him with anything but a smile on his face, ready to take on any task given to him - and have fun doing so. Chris has fantastic customer service skills and will always ensure each customer leaves the store happy and satisfied. It's a pleasure to work with someone with such a positive attitude towards his work and those he works with. Well done, Chris, keep up the good work.

Champion - Angela
Angela has been a part of our overnight team since 2017. She works hard every shift to ensure that the store is stocked, clean and ready for the next day. No task is too much trouble for Angela and she always puts 100% effort into every task she is set. Even though she has plenty to do throughout the night, this doesn’t stop her from always putting the customers first, making sure that they have a great visit every time. Congratulations and thank you for your hard work, it hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Champion - Sam
Sam joined the team back in June 2021. Since then, Sam has strived to do well at McDonald’s and has settled in as one of the team really quickly, becoming a dependable and reliable member of staff. Sam comes in prepared, smiling and happy and always goes above and beyond on each shift ensuring that he ‘smashes it out’ regardless of what station he is working. Sam is currently working towards becoming a crew trainer at Gapton Hall and is always willing to help out his team where he can. He displays the McDonald’s ‘vital ingredients’ on each shift ensuring that gold standard Quality, Service and Care is delivered to each and every customer. Keep up the great work.

Champion - Oliver
Oliver has worked with us for four years and his hard work is always consistent. His attitude towards every shift makes it a lot easier for crew and managers to enjoy their shift. Oli is friendly with everyone and always checks up on people. Oli's friendliness has been mentioned multiple times in Food for Thoughts (customer feedback) surveys recently which is why he has been chosen for employee of the month. When Oli does a job, he does it efficiently and effectively often without prompting. During busier hours Oli remains his calm, caring self, ensuring he can still help where he can. On behalf of all crew and managers, thank you Oli, for your hard work and caring attitude. Well done.

Louise is a hard worker, who always puts customers at the forefront of all her decisions. She regularly gets feedback via the Food for Thoughts (customer feedback) platform and ensures she goes above and beyond for all those who walk through the doors at the Broadlands store. Champion - Sam
When on shift, Sam is always consistent when on his station. He makes sure he is set up and ready for the shift as well as making sure his station is always clean. Sam is often asking managers for additional tasks which he can complete to help the shift run smoother. He takes pride in his work in all areas of the store, this is noticed by all managers. He always makes sure to put customers’ needs first and is always positive and happy when working. Well done, Sam.

Champion - Mark
Mark started with us shortly after we opened as part of the maintenance staff and has continued in the role. Mark shows versatility by helping the teams whenever and wherever needed, he will willingly tackle any task given to him and develops his standards as he is given feedback. He works well for the team and always looks to be proactive with stock and any preventative measures he can help with. He has built good relations with the local community, and we have received positive feedback from the locals when he is out doing his trash picking walk, expressing how pleased they are with his work. Keep up the great work and keep pushing your standards.

Champion - Darja
Darja joined the team shortly after opening in July 2021. Since then, she has become a real key part of our team. Darja is one of our permanent overnight staff and continuously gives 100% to every task she completes. No job is too much to ask, and her standards of quality, service and care, preparation and organisation are phenomenal and this is really noticeable to the day staff. Darja is a real credit to the restaurant, so from the all the management team Darja. thank you, this is thoroughly deserved, keep up the great work.

Our employee of the month is Keiran. Keiran is an excellent crew member who goes above and beyond every shift to ensure the customers he serves get exceptional service, but also so his team working around him have a great shift. He gets on with any and every job given to him and always completes these to a high standard. He is more than happy to learn new things and is quite adept at teaching others – he is well on his way to becoming a crew trainer.
